Water-Cult(ure)
The first forms on land were created 400 million years ago. Human beings develop themselves in amniotic water, which has a similar salt content as water from the sea. We go through different phases before we are born. Once arrived on Earth, we are made 70% of water, just like the Earth's surface. Water has always held a peculiar fascination for humans. For on obvious reason: everything that is connected to life is inextricably to water. Cleansing an water rituals are vital to many faiths - be it the washing in groundwater in Judaism or the baptism in Christianity. As for Muslims, it is obligatory to cleanse themselves with water before praying, while the cleaning ritual of the hindu consists f the ablution in the holy rivers of India. Water is the symbol of proliferation of life dates back to pre-Christian times.
